Riding with the Rem Tour

Remolition on a mission for The Midland’s Air Abulance to travel from Lands End to John O Groats mountainboarding spots on the way and staying with friends. Shortly into their tour the guys had a little stopover in Plymouth. Meeting us at Plymouths dry ski slope car park, we had a bit of a sesh with the flash cameras out before an evening of cider and setting up their media hub in Si’s kitchen.

After crashing on couches and filling up on Tea we met up with some more of PUATB for a session at Cann Woods. With stormy weather through the country Cann’s high trees swayed through the day, first runs found fallen trees in paths which turned into a little tree jumping sesh followed by drops, hips and some roots dodging.

ATBA-UK Downhill Series 2012, Rnd 1 Whinlatter Forest

Former PUATB members Beiran Stelzer Martlew, Mark Sewell, Ali York, Jenna Collins and Simon Neck headed to the lake district for the first round of the ATBA-UK Series. A long journey up to ride a 1 mile long firetrack that proved to be quite challenging with only 6 seconds between 2nd place and 5th yet somehow JC managed to keep a steady lead with a run of 2:29 and top speed of 35mph.

Birdlip, Snow and Stuck 12-02-12

Getting a little wheelspinny stuck delayed the start of the day but allowed Phil to recover from the prevoius nights Jager. Helped by Phil and Amy a broken camera strap and belt proved you really need a tow rope, with the addition of two bikers and some carpet we managed to get my little Swift free and get some runs in.
